Een week geleden kon ik mee met de afdeling Sociaal-Cultureel Werk van de Hogent naar Geraardsbergen, een van de getroffen regio’s na de overstromingen. Zij gingen er helpen bij de slachtoffers, ik nam foto’s voor de Hogent. Een aantal kun je hier zien: link.

If you see a storm like this coming, pack your stuff and get to a safe spot!
Looks nice, but weather switches from “o lovely lovely” to “get the f out of here! Grab those boards! aaaaaaaaaaaa”
The 2 surfboards that were still on top of the car were being blown off. Luckily we could grab and secure them all in time.
(too bad this sudden storm shred all of the clean funwaves)
